The Military History Center of the Carolinas (MHCC) evolved from a club formed in the mid 1990's. MHCC became a tax exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and a non-profit corporation in South Carolina in 2009. The MHCC is dedicated to honoring veterans, preserving U.S. Military History and performing community service by collecting and restoring items to take to events in our local communities. From 2009 through 2022, the MHCC displayed historical military items at over 200 events throughout the Upstate. Families and individuals; young, and not so young; male and female; about 50% veterans, and many others who have never served, help make up our diverse group.
